3. Ragi Banana Pancake

A delicious combination of cereal, banana, and other simple ingredients, Ragi Banana Pancakes are a healthy breakfast. On top, drizzle some maple syrup or honey on top.


Ingredients:

· 1 ripe banana

· ½ cup Ragi flour

· ½ cup whole wheat flour

· 2 tablespoon Ghee to drizzle on the pan cakes

· Warm water or butter milk as required to make the batter


How to make?

  • Peel and mash a ripe banana using a fork in a clean container

  • Sieve whole wheat flour and ragi flour in a mixing bowl. Mix the flours well with a spatula. Add mashed banana to the flour and blend well

  • Add warm water or buttermilk to the mixture to make the pan cake batter. Let it rest for few minutes on the counter

  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium flame. Drizzle some ghee on the pan

  • Take ladle full of the batter and pour at the centre of the pan. Do not spread the batter to thin

  • Cover the pancake and let it cook for 1-2 minutes. Flip and cook the other side as well

  • Repeat until all batter is used up

  • Serve the ragi banana pancakes warm, with some home made dates syrup

5. Quinoa Porridge


Preparation:

  • Soak 1 bowl of quinoa in clean water for about 15 minutes

  • After 15 min add 1 bowl of quinoa with 2 same bowl of water in a pan light the gas, add some olive oil to it

  • Once it comes to a boil lower the gas & cover lid

  • Let it cook for 12 to 15 mins.

  • It will come out dry and each grain will be separated from one another just like rice

Veggies:

  • Steamed carrot, Peas n Sweet Corns

  • Chopped onion

  • Diced Bell-peppers


Finale:

  • In a pan add 1.5 teaspoon of olive oil n heat, add bay leave, cumin seeds n rai dana

  • Add chopped onion n saute fr 2 mins

  • Add bell-peppers n saute for 2 mins

  • Add the steamed veggies n saute for 2 mins

  • Add d cooked dried quinoa to it

  • Add pink salt, crushed pepper and few drops of chilli vinegar
