Make South Indian Style Tasty Beetroot Rice at Home, loaded with Healthy Nutritional Benefits

With this lockdown period, most of us are trying to make some really nice recipes at home. We are try & search for some new, interesting and healthier recipes to cook at home.

While I always advice easy home made food to my clients which always aids weight loss, I keep curating some out of the box healthy recipes and today I have got you one recipe which isn't just easy to cook but quite healthy as well.

BEETROOT RICE / चुकंदर वेजिटेबल पुलाव

The Beetroot Rice / Beetroot Pulav / चुकंदर पुलाव - is a widely cooked recipe in South India. This also is a very nutrition rich food to be given to babies as this packs a whole lot of nutritions in it self.


  1. 1 Beetroot Boiled and Grated

  2. 1 Cup Boiled Rice

  3. Handful of Sweetcorn, Beans, Capcicum

  4. 1 Spoon of Onion & Tomato Paste

  5. Salt to Taste

  6. Pav bhaji Masala

  7. Red Chilli Powder to taste

  8. Kasuri Methi


  1. Take a Kadai / Deep Dish

  2. Pour 2 spn of Ghee / Cooking Oil

  3. Add the Veggies and Saute them for 3-4 minutes

  4. Add Onion Tomato Paste

  5. Add Salt, Pav Bhaji Masala, Red Chili, Kasuri Methi - As Per Taste

  6. Add Rice and Mix Well

  7. Serve it hot
