  1. For detoxification, begin by taking a mild laxative the night before

  2. Drink lukewarm water first thing in the morning to get the bowels working actively and start releasing toxins

  3. Have a bowl full of fresh and seasonal fruits topped with handful of nuts like almonds, walnuts, few raisins in breakfast

  4. Mid morning meal can be of coconut water, herbal teas, lemon water

  5. Eat a light khichri or veg dahlia by 3 pm and then get some rest

  6. Evening snack would be herbal teas or vegetable juice

  7. Dinner would comprise of warm vegetable soups with steamed or sautéed veggies

What Foods to avoid?

  1. Eggs

  2. Dairy products.

  3. Lentils and legumes

  4. Meat

  5. Canned juices

  6. Ketchup

  7. Soy and its products

What Foods to be included?

  1. Herbal teas

  2. Fruits and vegetables

  3. Clear veg soup

  4. Coconut water

  5. Lemon water

  6. Nuts and seeds

  7. Oils like flaxseed oil, olive oil.

Daily Detox Do's

  • Drink a minimum of 8 glasses of water per day

  • Take the time to chew food well

  • Remove any disturbing element near you like your mobile phone or TV

  • Enjoy your meal with your loved one
