Are Nuts (Dry Fruits) Good for Weight Loss?


Nuts are very rich in essential fats & at the same time they are also very rich in vitamins, minerals, fats, protein and Fiber. But While we munch on them, we really need to think, Are these Nuts good for your weight loss? Would eating Nuts affect your calorie intake or disrupt the weight loss journey?


Before you decide whether to eat them or not, let's look at some health benefits of a few Nuts:

But be careful about the quantitiy of intake with peanuts, since they are common reason to gas, heartburn, weight gain too, if taken in higher quantity. One should avoid salted or Masala peanuts for sure!

  • RAISINS: Eating raisins in correct portion won't cause weight gain. Although they are high in sugar, they release good amount of anti-oxidants which can help you increase your metabolism and results into faster weight loss.
