Up Your Game With This Healthy Green Moong Dal Cheela Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup whole green moong dal

  • 1 inch pc of ginger

  • 2 green chillies

  • 1 chopped onion

  • Salt to taste

  • Oil for browning

  • Water as needed for Grinding moong dal

Benefits of Green Moong Dal (Green Lentil):

Method:

  1. Wash and Soak Green Moong Dal (Lentil) overnight

  2. Grind with ginger and green chillies adding just enough water to make a smooth but thick batter

  3. Add salt and water to make into a spreadable consistency

  4. Heat the pan and spread a cup of batter like a pancake

  5. Sprinkle chopped onion and coriander as per the taste

  6. Brush the oil and let the chilla cook on both sides

  7. Serve hot with coconut, mint or tomato chutney
